In regards to your post, I agree with you that the video you linked to is troubling. Unfortunately, there ARE people who are going to vote for Barack Obama because he’s black – just as there are people who will NOT vote for him because he’s black. However, your opinion that the people in the video are “stupid” is something I don’t agree with. “Stupid” means “lacking ordinary quickness and keenness of mind.” It would be more accurate to say they are “ignorant” – which means “lacking knowledge or information” because obviously they are uninformed about the specifics of this political race. Good comment. However, the video you point to is one taken from a McCain Palin rally. Of course you are going to find some fanatics there. The video I point to was taken from the streets of New York City not a campaign rally. You would think (in New York) they would have had a harder time randomly finding people that ignorant.
